Kerdiles was involved in a motorcycle crash in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, which tragically claimed his life. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Kerdiles drove his motorcycle through a stop sign and collided with the driver’s side of an SUV.
The impact of the crash was devastating, and Kerdiles was immediately transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries. The Ducks, the team that drafted Kerdiles in 2012, expressed their profound grief on social media, highlighting his significance as the first player from Orange County to join their ranks.
Nicolas Kerdiles showcased his talent during his two seasons with the Ducks, making appearances in three games across the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. However, his career path took a different turn in 2018 when he was traded to the Winnipeg Jets, subsequently playing for the Manitoba Moose in the minor leagues. In recent years, Kerdiles had transitioned to a career in real estate in Nashville, showcasing his adaptability and determination.
