The Recovery of Jaromir Jagr Bobblehead Dolls

The Pittsburgh Penguins made an announcement regarding the missing shipment of Jaromir Jagr bobblehead dolls, declaring that the bobbleheads are no longer missing. This missing shipment was reported as stolen on March 14. After diligent efforts, the team was able to secure the missing cargo of bobblehead dolls. Penguins president of business operations, Kevin Acklin, revealed that a special cargo recovery team successfully negotiated the return of the stolen property to a secure warehouse in Ontario, California.

The truckload of Jagr bobbleheads arrived in Pittsburgh, bringing relief to the team and fans alike. The bobbleheads are now scheduled to be delivered to PPG Paints Arena within the coming week. Acklin took to social media to share the news and even teased about a potential movie deal with Jean-Claude Van Damme, referring to the actor’s 1995 film “Sudden Death” which was set in the Penguins’ former arena during a playoff game.

The Penguins were alerted about the cargo theft when the shipment of Jagr bobblehead dolls failed to arrive on time for the game against the San Jose Sharks. The bobblehead night was intended to celebrate Jagr’s legacy with the team, commemorating his 11 seasons with the Penguins and two Stanley Cup wins. The missing bobbleheads depicting Jagr in his iconic “salute” celebration were a setback, leading to a joint effort with manufacturers, transportation companies, and authorities to locate the stolen cargo.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Jagr had a good-natured response to the theft. He collaborated with the Penguins on a social media clip where he and a bobblehead doll went on a humorous journey in search of the missing shipment. Acklin emphasized the team’s commitment to resolving the theft and ensuring that fans receive their coveted Jagr bobbleheads.

Fans who attended the game on March 14 were issued vouchers with scannable barcodes to claim their Jagr bobbleheads at a later date. The recovered bobbleheads will now be distributed to fans holding these vouchers at the Penguins’ upcoming games against the Tampa Bay Lightning on April 6 and through a unique “drive-thru pick-up option” at PPG Paints Arena on April 7.
