This win marked Boulter’s first appearance in a WTA 500 final, showcasing her talents and determination throughout the tournament. Boulter’s aggressive baseline shot-making and a barrage of 24 winners proved to be too much for Navarro to handle.

In hindsight, Navarro admitted, “I tried to get some traction, but I just couldn’t quite execute when I wanted to get it going. She put a lot of pressure on my service and return games, so it was really tough to get any points.”
