White’s journey has been filled with ups and downs, starting with being a first-round pick by the Houston Rockets in 2012. However, his career with the Rockets was short-lived as he disclosed mental health issues and expressed his reluctance to travel for road games. Subsequently, White had brief stints with the Sacramento Kings before playing overseas for several years. His attempt at a career in mixed martial arts also ended in disappointment with a loss in his only professional fight in 2021.
