Recently, Smith Entertainment Group announced the six potential nicknames for Utah’s new NHL franchise, set to begin playing in the 2024-25 season. The finalists, which include Utah Blizzard, Utah Hockey Club (Utah HC), Utah Mammoth, Utah Outlaws, Utah Venom, and Utah Yeti, were chosen after a round of fan voting. Over 520,000 votes were cast, with more than 60% of them supporting these six options.
