An employee of the dealership accompanied her and found the keys to the truck, a Dodge Ram. However, things took a sinister turn when Miller approached the employee from behind, placed him in a chokehold, and demanded the keys. The employee stated that Miller violently slammed him to the ground before fleeing in the stolen truck. Fortunately, the truck had a GPS tracker, which facilitated its recovery. Miller was subsequently apprehended and now faces charges of carjacking without a weapon and burglary with assault.
The prosecutor emphasized that Miller seemed to have planned his actions in advance, indicating his knowledge of the dealership’s operations.
