Boxer Jarrell Miller Arrested for Carjacking and Burglary

Heavyweight boxer Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, known for his controversies, is facing a serious situation that could result in a prison sentence. Miller was recently arrested for allegedly stealing a truck from a dealership in Hollywood, Florida. This incident has further tainted Miller’s already troubled reputation.

According to 7 News Miami, the carjacking occurred when a woman arrived at Haims Motors in Hollywood to retrieve her cell phone from a repossessed vehicle. An employee of the dealership accompanied her and found the keys to the truck, a Dodge Ram. However, things took a sinister turn when Miller approached the employee from behind, placed him in a chokehold, and demanded the keys. The employee stated that Miller violently slammed him to the ground before fleeing in the stolen truck. Fortunately, the truck had a GPS tracker, which facilitated its recovery. Miller was subsequently apprehended and now faces charges of carjacking without a weapon and burglary with assault.

The prosecutor emphasized that Miller seemed to have planned his actions in advance, indicating his knowledge of the dealership’s operations. It is evident that he was willing to do whatever it took to retrieve his car at any cost. This calculated approach suggests a concerning lack of regard for the law and the safety of others.

This recent incident adds to a string of controversies surrounding Miller. Despite his success as a fighter, including being scheduled to fight Anthony Joshua in 2019, his career has been marred by multiple instances of misconduct. In the past, Miller tested positive for banned substances, leading to the cancellation of his highly anticipated bout with Joshua. This incident not only tarnished his reputation but also resulted in a missed opportunity to compete at the highest level of the sport.

Following his failed drug test, Miller’s boxing career took a significant hit. He has only fought four times since the incident, with his most recent fight resulting in a loss to Daniel Dubois. Despite his impressive knockout record, Miller’s potential as a world titlist has seemingly dwindled. With the latest carjacking and burglary charges against him, it remains unclear whether he will be able to salvage his once-promising career or if he will spend a considerable amount of time behind bars.

Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller’s arrest for carjacking and burglary has placed him in a precarious position both legally and professionally. This incident reflects poorly on his character and raises questions about his future in the boxing world. Miller’s repeated controversies and his disregard for rules and regulations may ultimately overshadow his skills as a fighter.
