However, despite his admiration for the club and his honorary membership, Nadal acknowledged that he may not meet the necessary criteria for the position. Although Nadal has been an honorary member since 2011, these criteria present significant hurdles on his path to the presidency.
Florentino Pérez, at 76 years old, has been the president of Real Madrid since 2009 and had previously held the position from 2000 to 2006.
